I am seeking suggestions as to journals or other outlets, online or print, scholarly or mainstream, that might be interested in publishing my article, "Almost Madness: Boswell's Hypochondriak Essays," which considers the psycho-historic diagnosis of Boswell as suffering from bipolar disorder and his remarkable achievement in writing these essays, which provide an early example of pathography, life writings about illness. Writing as a self-diagnosed hypochondriak, Boswell is not only confessional, but also astute and observant regarding his symptoms, the chronic nature of his affliction and how writing about it proved therapeutic. This could be presented as a paper or edited down for a mainstream publication. Any suggestions? I can provide more details about myself and the paper. (I am a writer currently enrolled in a Ph.D. program in English at SUNY Albany in New York.)

I've no publication contacts but having written a dissertation on Boswell myself which included reference to his column I'd love to read this!
