David McQuhae

Married (1735) to Margaret Laurie, with whom he had William McQuhae and six other children. Sometime bailie/magistrate of Wigtown

Boswell visited McQuhae and his wife at Wigtown on September 29, 1762, them being the parents of his friend William McQuhae. David McQuhae was described as "a good-natured, indolent, honest man".
