How many siblings did he have and what were there names ? thanks
James Boswell had two siblings who survived through infancy:
John Boswell (1743-1798), who became a lieutenant in the army, but who had to resign at the young age of 20-21 because of some sort of mental disorder which affected him for the rest of his life. See http://www.jamesboswell.info/biography/john-boswell-brother-great-biographer
David Boswell (1748-1826), who travelled to Valencia at a fairly young age to become a merchant, but later returned to England. See also http://www.jamesboswell.info/biography/thomas-david-boswell
He also had at least one other sibling, who died in infancy. The details escapes me just now, but I seem to recall that Alexander Boswell and his wife Euphemia (Boswell's parents) had a daughter named Veronica in 1741-1742 who died no more than 1-2 years old.

For most of his adult life Boswell was better known for his "Account of Corsica", which lead to the sobriquet Corsica Boswell, than for his friendship with Dr. Johnson.
